Lore
This card shows Varian Wrynn on the throne of Stormwind. He previously appeared in Hearthstone as 
Varian Wrynn during The Grand Tournament, which was also focused on card-draw and board impact.
Varian, King of Stormwind's card art shows Varian using his sword Shalamayne in it's two-sword configuration, first shown in World of Warcraft: Legion.

- Varian's summon line is quoted from World of Warcraft: The Comic, which was one of Varian's first appearances in the lore of Warcraft.
